Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has unveiled a new variant of its budget smartphone series the Oppo A16. The new smartphone is named Oppo A16K and it comes with a sleek 7.9mm body and droplet notch design that houses the front camera. It looks like a toned-down version of the Oppo A16 and is available in the Philippines for now. The company might launch this variant in India as it is one of the biggest markets for mid-range smartphones.

The Oppo A16K was launched in the Philippines at a price tag of PHP 6,999 (roughly around Rs 10,300). The company might also launch this variant in India as there is a huge demand for budget smartphones in our country. This handset is available in three colour options — Black, Blue and White.
Oppo A16K key specifications
This device sports a 6.52-inch IPS HD+ display with a 720×1600 resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a 13MP camera sensor in the back and a 5MP sensor in the front for selfies.
It is powered by a Helio G35 processor and is available with 4GB RAM+64GB internal memory. It also has a memory card slot to expand the memory with the help of a microSD. It runs on ColorOS 11.1 which is based on Android 11.
This device packs a 4230mAh battery that can be recharged with a microUSB port. For connectivity, this smartphone is equipped with dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 5, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5mm audio port.
